Ministry

 

I have been an ordained minister for over 30 years.  For nearly 20 years, I have worked with a prominent ministry in Southfield, Michigan training men with special needs how to live independently in the community, by providing them with the skills necessary to fulfill their God-given destiny and purpose.  In the year 2000, the home that I manage won the Governors Quality Care Award for providing the Highest Quality Care to Michigan’s Most Vulnerable Residents.  As an ordained minister, I provide counseling based on the Word of God and His wisdom.  My focus areas are:

• Individual Counseling: Personal and spiritual growth, coping with depression, anxiety, grief, stress, handling difficult relationships.                        

• Premarital Counseling: Marriage preparation, understanding a covenant relationship, personality assessments, exploring family of origin backgrounds, building communication skills and financial planning.

• Marriage Counseling: Communication, conflict resolution, emotional and sexual intimacy, infidelity recovery, and crisis management.

• Family Counseling: Building effective communication, developing parenting skills, adjusting to life changes, relationships between family members, child & adolescent behavioral issues

• Marketplace Ministry: A global prayer line designed to equip, train, encourage, activate and release marketplace leaders into their purpose and destiny in the marketplace and in all spheres of society.

 

One of my passions is being a prayer leader and instructor involved in Marketplace Ministry, specifically Marketplace Monday.  Marketplace Monday is a global prayer line for entrepreneurs, business owners, executives, professionals, and home-based business owners, where prayer and spiritual principals are taught to empower you in the workplace.  The Ministry's objectives are to bless, strengthen, inspire, encourage, and empower each marketplace leader.  The goal is that every marketplace leader will impact society with the principles of God through evangelism and prayer in the workplace and business environments as they advance the Kingdom of God.
